Chief Program Officer

Provide leadership for all of the professional programming offered by Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home. Manage overall Agency service delivery and implement clinical philosophy.  Responsible for program planning, development, service delivery, quality improvement, evaluation, fiscal management, long range planning, documentation and follow-up studies.  Serves as a resource at the local, state and national levels for child advocacy, program standards and practice.  Supervises Program Leadership staff.  Reports to the CEO.

LCSW with seven years post-masters experience in a management position within a Human Service Agency. Demonstrated high level communication skills and knowledge and expertise in the child welfare and mental health field.  Ability to collaborate at all levels and have demonstrated success leading teams.  All applicants must have a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Teacher

Teacher for self-contained classroom at our Mark Hopkins Elementary off campus site in Littleton.  Serves K-6 grades, maximum 12 students in the classroom with two teaching assistants.  Provides educational/treatment programming, supervises assistants, participates in IEP’s and transitioning students to public school. 10 month program with extended six week summer program. Strong community based focus.

Valid Colorado teaching certificate required with a Special Education Generalist endorsement (or willing to obtain, tuition reimbursement provided).  Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Cottage Supervisor

Responsible for building a therapeutic milieu, group and individual treatment behavior management programs and the care and supervision of 12 boys within a residential unit.  Responsible for unit coverage/scheduling and the supervision and on-going training of the direct care milieu staff (9.5). BA degree in Human Service related field required, previous residential and/or day treatment experience strongly preferred. Family & School Support Specialists

Responsible for intensive services, case management and crisis intervention for children and families in the home, school and community.  BA in Human Service field required with previous experience working with at risk youth. Must have strong behavior management skills, ability to work autonomously and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekend times.

Community Based Family Therapist

HEART (Home Environment Alternative to Residential Placement) a new program within TCC seeks a fulltime Therapist to work directly with Jefferson County DHS to provide intensive home-based family therapy (small caseload), individual therapy and case management designed to decrease the need for a higher level of care.  MSW and previous related experience required, licensure highly preferred. Youth Treatment Counselor(s)

Seeking direct care milieu staff. Provides structure and consistency, teaches social skills, runs groups, plans and implements activities and implements treatment plans.  Full and part-time position available. Must have a bachelor degree in a Human Service related field with previous experience with children, at risk preferred. Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license and be a strong team player with a mission to stop the cycle of abuse and neglect with a strength-based approach.

Night Youth Treatment Counselor(s)

Residential unit serving co-ed children ages 9-14 seeking two overnight direct care staff to provide care and supervision of 12 children.  Awake position responsible for bed checks/documentation, light housekeeping and maintaining a therapeutic milieu. Full-time positions with full benefits including health/dental, good paid time off and great training. Ideal for student’s or candidates wanting additional experience in the field. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Colorado driver’s license. BA degree in Human Service field and previous experience with children preferred.
